Turdus merula Blackbird

Birds
I love to wake up to the sound of the dawn chorus in the mornings. We get a wide variety of wild birds in the garden but I have not as yet got many good pictures of them because I am usually wandering around which tends to send them off high in the local trees etc. However now I have a telephoto lens for the camera and with a little patience and luck I hope to build up a collection of pictures. I now seem to have captured most of the species of bird visitors to my garden but there are a few noticable ones that I have still to capture such as the Wren, Sparrow Hawk, Male Black cap, and House Martin each of which I have seen visit the garden on mant occassion when I dont have the camera close. In addition there is of course the Black Headed Gulls that fly over regularly.
